Xmas special part 1: Food food glorious food!

A super outdated post but no worries part 2 will be out before 2007. Hee. We enjoyed our sumptuous meal at Moonfish Marina Sq before chrissy eve, jus in case it gets too crowded on eve itself. This is my chrissy gift to Smurf. =)

Our drinks, Mango + Mixed fruits (orangy colour) and Tropicana. Its a promotional drink (one for one) which comes together with the christmas meal.


The Seafood Platter! Comes with calamaris, cheese sticks, soft shell crab and prawns. Plus a tomato and tartar sauce dip. I only took cheese sticks and 1/4 of other seafood lest i'll suffer a major outbreak. *resistance*


My meal~.. Chief Frederick's 5 star codfish with special spices. Fresh and smooth in texture which melts in the mouth. yummy. Spices for the extra taste but i pushed most aside cos its too saltish.


Smurf ordered Lobster and chicken pasta. The fresh lobster looked at me seductively and i nearly plunged myself to chew its juicy meat. Of cos i did, alittle bit. =) Spagetties tasted springy and smooth, a perfect combo!


Our dessert, Moonfish specialty Tiramisu. Very rich in coffee and rum. Smooth and tantalizing to the tastebuds. I suffered severe insomnia that very nite. =(

its getting dreadful

I dont know wat e shit is happening to my life now..my health has gone topsy turvy since the holidays started. Keep getting knee aches whenever i walk longer distances, my guess is the thinning of my cartilages, i'm not sure. It hurt so terribly that i have diffculty climbing e stairs esp going downwards. I should see a doc but i HATE seeing doctors eversince young and i will never unless my condition is out of hand.
Another thing is i've been hit BIG time by an insomnia bug. Its been 2 weeks and my sleep has been floating throughout e nite. Toss n turn till 4am and i jus cant sleep. Any useful comments please? i need it desperately. No to sleeping pills! >_<''''

Movie month

My first time catching up with movie this mth.. darn long since i last watched any.. Eragon Trilogy has some typical fantasy storyline..generally ok lah.. with the backgd setting similar to Lord of the Rings.. hmm~ I wont reveal much.. watch it and judge for yourself.

Next coming up is NIght at the Museum and Death Note 2!..=D

Wanna watch Curse of the golden flower..but Zhang Yimou's films are rather artistic..either you love it or hate it. This movie has recd lots of critictism.. i better dun take risk..movie tix are exp nowadays~ 0_o

Teeheehee! I'm on a winning streak lately (not lottery of cos!) and i get to enjoy nicey promo offers out there. Been listening to 9.33FM daily and they are promoting a new IPL treatment by Bioskin since last week. The first 30 pple who send their sms will enjoy this offer for just $58 instead of $330! This is available only at Suntec outlet. Of cos, the 'kiasu Singaporean' mindset got into me, without hesitating i sent a sms. Who knows i may the lucky one?

Muaahhaaa! I'm one of the first 30! Anyway, its time to rescue my 'Prata face' by pampering myself. A monthly treatment is better of cos but due to my extreme tight budget, I cant afford one. =(

Sad to say, i exceeded by budget. Instead of just $58, i end up paying $166. o_0''''''' Tragic..~ Because i simply cant resist! I've never had facial before and curiosity got over me. To console myself, the experience i had really made it all worthwhile. *smilez* =) The 2nd session i enjoyed is a BioDermabrasion and Eminent Pac with O2 plasma + BioFlora Ice treatment. As for the remaining cost, i topped up another $48 voucher for the next O2 treatment. I'm broke from now onwards..no more spending!!!!

Infact i've got loads to write but let me sum them all up instead. Firstly, they start with deep cleansing and hot steam. I love it! Next, the beautician proceeds with the promo package that is IPL light treatment which helps to clear up blemishes and bacteria on skin. To be honest i hate this, the light burst is so bright tat it penetrates into your eyes no matter how close you shut them. Each light burst take seconds and you'll feel a warm touch on your skin. Throughout e 2 mins, I jerked like anything. =pp

After IPL treatment is 02 Plasma...haha another favourite of mine. It is oxygen with a hair moose foamy texture that is sprayed on the skin. Easy to absorb! BioFlora Ice treatment gives a cool refreshing feel on the skin... seriously i'm not sure wat it does..Fourth step is my favourite is Ear candling~ a FOC treament which comes together with e promo package. Vivian (the beautician) inserted some stick like thingy with a candle on top (cldn see properly) into my earlobe. It is said to have detoxifying, relaxation and cleansing effect. When placed into my ears, i hear some wispy sound..super irritating..guess it shd be due to some heat generation or watsoever. During this treatment, a lame qn came into my mind and i nearly asked her 'Will the candle wax drip into my ear?' haha. I dare not ask else it'll make me like a Sua Ku. Nonetheless, the sensation was great!

The last and final step is moisture mask + cold steam + head (10mins) and shoulder/back (20mins) massage. Super shiok! I lurve shoulder/back massages most.. best after a hard day's work and it makes you relax to the max. I dont quite enjoy the scalp massage cos it gives me headaches. *make my $$ worth, jus take it lah* Generally, the whole process took me 2hrs plus.. darn long loh. I'll give it 8/10 inclusive of good service.

Being ME

The usual saying goes, life isnt a bed of roses. Duh~ Everyone knows this but how many will sit and ponder deeply? I am one of them. I dont like to shut an eye and move on thinking that the situation will turn for the better or tmr will be a better day kinda thing. Cos as long as the prob is not resolved, tmr will not be a better day. Face it.

Life gets so bad at a certain point of time till you jus wanna give up. Things jus dont fall into place and everything is screwed in your path. A sense of helplessness and demoralisation jus hit you on the face. Put it in layman's terms 'SO suay!' All the blame goes to one's poor luck. I used to think like way and tat was years ago. There's no justification and i'm not afraid to admit tt i've gained the wisdom to decide my path.

Courage is the driving force i need to take my first step ahead. It can be sth simple or natural to others but to me, it is a challenge. Sometimes i feel i can make it, sometimes i jus cant make it. haiz. I may provide constructive suggestions to pple but as for myself, i get sandwiched in my own world. Unable to break free. But i am trying hard for myself and for others.

I have difficulty approaching pple, be it a stranger or even a close friend. Words get stuck halfway and i end up blabbering nonsense. I jus cant get the message across and gradually i become a little anti-social. I rather be unnoticed yet at the same time i hope to be noticed. haiz. wats happening? Maybe i'm trapped too long in my little own world. I'm so happy in my comfort zone and just reluctant to step out. Not good. Something has to be done.

yupz.I shall start today, tommorrow or the day after and so on. Most imptly, my determination must remained unshaken in order to break free. This day shall come. =)

Belated post..

heee..this is a belated post on Zhiyun's bday on 19th November. (hope i dint get it wrong =p) It was a mega-fun day for us..a get-together after a shit load of exams and heavy workload. Sad to say, i dun have a cammy. BUt as promised.. i will get it end Dec 06. Cybershot! here i come!! hiak hiak hiaks!



Zhiyun is holding our pretty necklace..tt we specially chosen which best fits her style. Really proud of our choice and she lurve it to bits!

Neoprints!

Its been years eversince i last took neoprints. When Neoprints arrived to town some 10 years ago, it was a 'die die must try' sorta entertainment among students. It was $5 bucks for 6+ odd pieces which comes in various sizes. Back then, the prints were larger and of cos, with fugly looking frames. You jus stand infront of e screen, with a flimsy white sheet behind you and e outcome sux terribly. Yet, pple like me happily paid for it.

Neoprints are no longer a craze nowadyas. Rather its sth you choose to have it or not. And you wont die without having ur pic taken in a Neoprint. Investing in a digicam is More than enough, it enables you to take millions of shots anywhere. Have it edited with photoshop and becomes a digital 'neoprint'. =)

Nevertheless, i took neoprints with Waiyan on sunday. Jus becos it seemed interesting. =x Mind you, it costs us $11 bucks for some peanut-sized shots! As compared to the past, these are much much prettier looking.. and i'm proud to say i look good too. MUAAAHHA. cos i sux infront of camera..always~ It comes with special effects which made e whole process mega-fun but unfortunately it dint give us much time to get ready. And we were given more than 30 mins to design our shots.. not bad yeah? heex
