gone

i screwed up for the first paper and there still more to go.. it was such a suffocating 3hr i had to go thru and haiz.. feeling utterly miserable and demoralised to even face the remaining modules. damn. i only have 1 day ++ to go thru e next module and its simply not enough for a pighead. My confidence has plunged right into the sea and i have no courage to face my next battle for a week.

hhaaaheeeehehoooo

books theories papers notes.. blah blah~ life for this moment jus sux big time. Hang on! i'm waiting for next weekend and yahoooo i'll be free.. =D

Side track abit...
Do some pple help out of pure goodwill or simply becos they want to be accepted in the clique or just to reinforce their current friendship. Maybe i'm being overly sensitive here but i just cant decieve myself that 'oh they are really nice and helpful' which infact they aint. From my observation they may be helpful but only towards certain pple. So not everyone get to enjoy such a privilege. They seemed to be overly helpful to those whom they think deserved it and less (prefered not to be so) helpful to those they feel tt they cant gain anything from it. It makes my stomach turn to see someone being helpful over things which i feel may not neccessary need any help. To me, i will be helpful if i want and will go beyond if the need arises.

But i will not be enthusiasically helpful over minor stuff like [scenario one]'oh i 've got craving for prata from Jalan Kayu's~.'

'Helpful' person says 'Sure! my fren lives opp the shop and i'll get him to buy some for you then pre-heat and pass it to you FOC. *SMILES*'

For me, i will say 'ok, after exams i'll take you to eat as much as you want and If i'm in good mood, i'll give u a treat.'

[scenario two]
'hey you bought prata for Jolly yesterday issit? i also wan'

'Helpful' person says ' today i very busy leh.. dint pass by that area.. haha..sorry.'

ahem.. you know wat i mean?

ok, back to main topic...
temptation sets in...

3 of my previous phals died a horrible death from fungi and root rot..hopefully this will be a success.

another pretty one..

taking care of plants isnt as simple as watering daily.. you gotta take note of its preferences and needs. This is very impt to ensure its longevity and good growth. I've got a variety of dedrobiums, onicidium and phalaenopsis each with a different character. So gotta keep watch of temperature, humidity, feeding and watering. Its very time consuming but i truly enjoy caring for them. haha. The moment you see spikes and buds.. tt is my greatest accomplishment. heeez

My passion

Besides food.. without plants and flowers, my world will be colourless. I dont know when i've developed a liking towards plants. Here's some nice looking pics for viewing pleasure.

Taken at Sentosa Flower Exhibition 2007 during CNY

My personal collections are here..

I bought this 2 weeks ago for just $12!

Dessert Rose is on the favourites list. =)

Many many weeks back i made a trip down to Emerald Hill (behind orchard) to try the 'most popular' Japanese restaurant known as Akira Japanese Restaurant located at Emerald Mansion. I simply love the Peranakan houses at Emerald Hill, its all nicely renovated with modern interiors.. indeed its a fusion of the past and present! *One of my dream home.. haha*

The place is dim..so image quality not that good.

Interior at Akira's..

This is also the kind of sushi you'll get at Wasabi Tei's (refer to my previous post). Hee.. compare it with Ichiban's..see e diff? But i prefer Wasabi's cos its cheaper by $10 bucks and you get more or less the same stuff.

Tempura noodle soup..

Grilled Saba fish..

Gyoza with meat fillings..

Overall, i left the place in disappointment cos we spent like more than $60 for the dishes ordered above. Infact i can get the same stuff at a lower price at Wasabi's or Ichiban's. Most prolly i wont visit this place unless i'm gg on a sushi buffet which will cost ard $30 per head.

*Another thing is, i hate raw tuna.. really hate it. Taste sourish and fishy.. just unbearable.

Where to enjoy good food? Check it out at Makanguru's!

this post is pure nonsensical cos my mind isnt functioning properly..

argh...wat e heck is happening!
