wish i had more time..

argh!!!! forgive me for complaining at the start of my message.I need to destress and spare me from heavy loads of sch work and projects!! My little brain up there is bursting anytime! How i wish i am given 48 hours a day instead nature gave me half of it..sad..=(. Ok..this is quite a long entry and i have lots to share eversince last year and i kept it with me till today.
Lets start with my love for visual arts.Well,it maybe boring for some people or maybe i'm a boring person but to me, it speaks alot and more than what we perceived to be.







This is my favourite exhibit taken at Esplanade's underpass. Its an introduction of malay culture and beliefs during the 60s. A combination of melodrama, comedy and period shows in overly exxagerated form of expressions. Sometimes or many times i will stand and watched how the chinese actor try to cope with the language till he gets it right. 'Aku tak tau melayu..'i'm thankful they have subtitles. =p

Talk abt culture, i love Peranankan culture (guessed i've mentioned be4).As promised, the pics of my kebaya are up. This is a vintage piece abt close to 50yrs old and after the touch up..it looks perfect! I'm unable to take of pic of myself wearing it because 1stly i'm not photogenic and 2ndly its hard to take a snap of myself in a 'perfect' angle.


*taken with flash. Look at those lovely embroidery, so 3D like...i wonder how it was made, by hand or machine? (I forgot to ask) It was love at first sight. Though the price is steep..i cant resist its beauty. =x I'm very curious to know who is the owner, well the shop assistant said it belonged to a young lady (dont know dead or alive) According to the Peranankan culture, it is considered good fortune to wear clothes of the older generation. Hmmm...anyway just wear it lah! haha..

Due the aged condition of my kebaya,its prefered to get a lightweight kerongsang (the 3 pin brooch) so as not to stress out the delicate fabric.After much selection, this is the lightest. Any lighter ones would prolly be those vintage pieces which are not for sale unless i offer it at more than $200. *no money* Anyway,i'm happy with this one. =)

Will update myself wearing my kebaya at fara's wedding in March.Yupz..i long for that day~ heehz

finally....

After viewing soooo many templates, i decided to settle for this one. The nicer templates are either incomplete or comes with scripting errors. Forget it bah~ just take this. Pardon my cbox, if it looks kinda 'outstanding', i'm too lazy to change a suitable one to match my background just in case i may wanna get a new look. Heeeh~

a busy week rather..just came back from my meeting at tampines..'phew',thanks to Mr Peh for sending me home else i'll be having a hard time getting a cab and the prob is kaikan is located at quite deep in..=x This week, i have to make a trip down to Kim Choo's to collect my kebaya. Its ready! And i may need a fresh pedicure for the upcoming CNY. The sudden urge to splurge is coming in too...gotta get a new big multi-purpose bag..a new tee/blouse..wat else? Try completing all my animes and hk serials this week plus leveling up my maple character...

A week before Christmas, i joyfully made my way down to 779 Bukit Timah Rd just to try the so called 'famous' eat-out at Cordoroy's...

Disappointment....

I wanted to put up a good food review of this at makanguru but sad to say i can't do it this time.Its not lousy lah..it just dont communicate with my taste buds~ haiz! It's all Mediteranean food..so a little not used to it.

Appetitzers served before every main dish...we got this..which i dunno call wat?


Surprisingly, this is the best i've tasted that day. Just like a pizza slice with onion toppings..

We ordered the 'popular' cold dish..Mediterranean Seafood Platter..


Nicely presented!! Super expensive..cost us like $35????? I ate....guess (chicken or turkey slice) and 2 pathetic pieces of prawn..some mushrooms in special sauce and the rest i dunno wat they are..You see? Its a horrible feeling to eat sth unknown! haizz...dont expect me to ask the waitresses there. Lastly we ordered chicken sandwiches..XXL size..hmmmm..tats too chunky for me..

Well...i bet e desserts would taste better~

Start of a new sch week..... i'm feeling terribly shagged and drained. Help!!! I wonder if i still have energy to do other stuff..haizz
