i give up

Motivation is important to keep us moving ahead and advance even further from where we are. Today is my 2nd attempt with choc fondant and i screwed it. I guess baking isnt my forte and another thing is i lack the passion. So i've decided to give up baking for good. I'll pass all the ingredients and utensils to Huimin who has more passion than me. Dont get the wrong idea that i'm those kinda person who gives up easily. I believe that the outcome isnt tat important, rather the importance lies in its process. If you dont enjoy the process of doing something, you just wont do a good job. I thought i can pick up another hobby, that is baking. But i didnt really enjoy the process, i made a huge mess and having to wash the utensils was a hassle. My hands hurt big time. Well, i would rather remain as a connoisseur of gastronomy instead. Then a conclusion came into my mind - nothing gets better than horticulture.

updates..

its been more than a month since i last updated my blog. Busy with projs exams and partly i'm jus too lazy to pen anything down. Makanguru is covered with dust..yup.. i will update more goodies soon. darn~ I hardly have the time to sit and admire the orchids which has bloomed recently. Since its the cool rainy season, i'm experimenting them with 'ice therapy'(i named this) to induce spikes. Yeah! its works, I'm so excited. more blooms from dec to early jan. teehee.

Exams are over and once again i have all the time in the world (at the moment), to linger in my private space, experiment baking techniques, more animes/movies to catch up and more self-learning to go. Besides, i miss my bestest frens like mad,i had it all planned this mth so tt i must meet them no matter wat. haaaah!

Tried baking choc fondant today, i screwed it terribly. the 'cake' jus cldnt rise at all! dint take a pic cos it looked unappealing~. I used 2 eggs instead of 3 cos we ran out of it and its pure laziness again, to go out and buy. Some adjustments were made to the ingredients, so that explains why. hmm.. shall try it again.. this time it will be successful. trust me. once i get the hang of it, i will bake for my members for my next district mtg in dec.. as a christmas gift. haha.

meanwhile i shall use the time i have now to enjoy myself to the fullest cos next mid-week i'll be busy once again till end of yr. @_@''' wish me luck..
