Makanguru's Creation

Woot! Here's the Makanguru's greatest creation of the century!
Introducting THE BAK CHOR RICE!

*throws confetti in the air*

If you are lazy to get outta house for lunch or dinner and ordering fast food is just too fattening, try preparing something tasty and of cos healthier than junk foods! It's really simple, let me share with you my secret recipe! =D

The main ingredients are oyster sauce,light soya sauce,sesame oil,cornflour,pepper,fresh minced pork and 1/2 cup of rice.

*you cant miss out oyster sauce and sesame oil!*


-Season meat with pepper, cornflour(prevent stickiness) and light soya sauce.
-*tip: always select Airpork for its freshness and quality. It's lower in fat and its tastier.
-mixed meat well till meat softens.


-Just 1/2 cup rice or less will do. (unless its for more than 1 person)


-Here comes the tricky part.How to ensure that rice will not turn out too hard or soggy? Use your tiny finger.
-Dip finger in and measure.The depth of water must be TWICE the depth of rice added.
-Results 101% guaranteed! Perfecto!
-Cook for 5mins.


-When water in cooker reaches boiling stage, throw in the meat and spread them evenly.
-Very impt! Dilute 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce with water.
-Pour in diluted oyster sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil.
-Close lid and leave it to cook for 15mins. *the aroma is in the air!*
-*Tip: Once rice is cooked, do not scoop it out immediately. Keep warm for the next 15mins to remove excess moisture.


The CHICKEN BOWL! Food just tastes better in it! =P


TADA! Its ready to be served! Great for lunch or dinner and it goes well with soups (if any). You can even eat it on its own too! Great taste guaranteed!
